LOL! I was thinking of someday getting a laptop with wireless internet...Lorne had a look of horror on his face. (but then the reality set in that in a couple years we'll have kids entering high school where laptops will most likely be mandatory...~sigh~) I do say since we moved the computer into the bedroom I'm on it less.
It's a different world for kids today, that's for sure! I can remember being the only kid in my class that had a home pc when I was in high school, and basically all it did was word processing and play games.
I don't think I could put my computer anywhere that I would use it less, I'm so addicted, but at least with the DSL it doesn't take as long.
I'm still on dialup and don't even have a dvd player yet..."Cheesy, I'd like you to meet the 20th century" "Pleased to meet you".
On Iceland Air they were actually playing just one movie and it was Cactus Flower (the one with Goldie Hawn from about 20 years ago). The person sitting in front of me in the opposite aisle had a laptop and were playing their own movie. It was so crystal clear...way better than a tv screen.
I love watching movies on my laptop! If I ever do get off the road, I'm going to have to buy one for myself - I've used it for so long, I just don't think I could go back to a desktop.
And... isn't it the 21st century now? *g* So even if you catch up to the 20th, you'll still be behind!
