You know who sucks? Dating companies who play ad after ad on a Saturday night. Yes, thank you, I realize I'm single and alone. Thanks for highlighting that. :-|
Thank you! *hugs* I'm feeling a bit lonely today and they were not helping. That, plus when I turned the tv on, it was accidentally on the religious channel and the first thing I heard was "Lonely? Turn to Jesus. Make Jesus your boyfriend." So now I'm not just lonely but a bit creeped out.
Watch daytime television some time. If the obvious low opinion of the viewers displayed by the commerical selection doesn't get one off the couch, nothing will. Only thing worse are the sleazy 900 chatline commercials on late night.
Odd you should mention the 900 chatlines, because I was watching Top Chef and a commercial came on with a college coed in her pjs, and I thought, "Oh, no, isn't it a bit early for the hotline commercials?" Turns out she was selling online college courses.
