On the road again...

So this week finds me in Quebec, Canada, or it will in about 45 minutes.

I have been kind of down this weekend, thinking about all the really cool places my work has wanted to send me this year, but that I've turned down. Namely: Australia (twice!), Vietnam, Guatemala, and Vienna.

Now, I've had perfectly good reasons for refusing each trip, and in each case I think I made the right decision. But I love to see new places so much and it's hard for me to accept that I can't go everywhere I want all the time. So I'm a little bummed about it, especially since I was supposed to go to Vienna this week. I keep telling myself I wouldn't even have had time for any sightseeing, since it was only for two days, mid-week, but still... Vienna!

Oh, well. I'll just have to start planning next year's vacation. I'm thinking Spain.

Well, you know, I just saw "Under the Tuscan Sun" and Italy is now holding a lot of appeal for me...heee...

I have never been outside of the States...in fact, I have never been West of the Mississippi!! So do remember that even if you can't always go where you want, you've seen a hell of a lot more than a lot of us!! :P

I'm sure that you'll get the chance to go to the places you want sometime in the future. For someone who loves to travel as much as you do, I'm sure you'll find a way!

I know I'm lucky to have gone as many places as I have. It's just hard to think about all I could have done. I'll get over it *G*

As for the mail... the network I'm on is so locked down, I can't get into my mail, but I will read it tonight!
