Definition of sheer panic:
Realizing you sent your July mortgage payment to Wells Fargo Financial instead of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
All is sorted now, mortgage payment sent off to the right place, and refund headed it's way to me from the other place, which is a credit card company that I bought something from in 2002. Sheesh. But everyone was very helpful about the whole thing, and I have now set up reoccuring payments to the right place on my online banking. And cleared out all the payees that I don't use anymore, except the Wells Fargo one - want to make sure I get that check back before I delete the info, then it's going too. Yikes, yikes, yikes.

Date: 2007-07-14 08:41 pm (UTC)And I usually have everything pulling directly, but my company has changed the way they pay us, and it's screwed me up. We used to get paid on the 1st and the 15th, so you knew exactly when to set up your bills to go out. Now we get paid every two weeks, which means I might get paid on the 3rd or the 12th or whatever depending on the month. I guess I'll get used to it, but it's not as easy as the other way.
