This week in history...

I've been meaning to come update all week, but never quite made it. So, my week in bullet points:

• Did absolutely nothing for Memorial Day weekend, except sit around on my couch feeling like I'd been run over by a truck. Jetlag sucks.


• Flew to Las Vegas on Monday - they had to divert our flight to make an emergency landing at Oklahoma City because a man passed out, and then they arrested 3 or 4 people who apparently got into an "altercation" with one of the flight attendants during the emergency. Then we had to wait another 45 minutes or so because there was no one at the airport that could refuel a 757.


• Watched Pirates of the Carribbean at the movie theater at the casino I'm training. Liked it better than the second one by a long shot, but still see no reason to have made more of these.


• Have nearly watched all of season 1 of Supernatural. Am now scared of the dark :)

And that's really all I've been up to... I'm feeling a little disconnected from people right now, like I don't want to talk on the phone and stuff, but I think it's just the travel schedule - it's wearing and my sleep pattern is 8 shades of screwed up.

ETA: Well, I couldn't get this to post, so I'm not in Vegas anymore.

Yup! I just ordered Season 1 on DVD. I have to admit, I like the storyline better than the gory stuff, but as long as I look away at the right moment, all is well. :D

I was in Maryland for Memorial Day weekend, I WISH I had done nothing. :)
With all you go through while traveling, I'm amazed you haven't either gone postal, or become a librarian.
Thanks for the review of Pirates, like the 2nd one, I will probably wait until it comes to cable.
I watched a few of the Supernatural episodes, I couldn't get into it, maybe because I have been spoiled by Buffy, didn't think it compared. Too bad they couldn't get Joss Whedon to write it.
I hope you have since gotten the sleep that you need. The older I get, the more I crave a good night's sleep.
