Scissor Sisters were great as always last night! Jake Shears, however, needs to rethink his encore outfit. It was slightly Bea Arthur, Golden Girls era.

And then I came home, all happy and energized, to find that Those Bastards (aka the maintenance crew at my apartment complex) had shut off my hot water. With one of their "Oh, we'll be back tomorrow sorry for the inconvenience" notes. Now, I didn't leave my apartment til after 6 PM, so it's not like this was in any way planned or okayed. And then they did not call or show up this morning until I had them paged. If it was the first time, okay. But we've been dealing with leaks and flooding all summer, and my apartment smells like mildew when you walk in, and I am tired of this!

Plus I really, really wanted to take a nice hot shower when I got home last night :(

I'm trying to figure out the point of turning off the water in the middle of the night, but I'm afraid I'm just not seeing it.

I would loan you some hot water, but it's not the easiest thing to do, you know.

But I am glad the show was good, despite the fashion faux pas.
