Home at last

Well, I've had an interesting couple of days...
So my Monday night was going along just fine. Cleaned my bathroom, played on the internet. And then wham! I got this really bad pain on my right side. Really sudden, and not going anywhere. Of course, I'm home alone (these things never happen when anyone else is around). I waited about half an hour, thinking it would go away. When it didn't, I did what any self-respecting, independent 28-year-old woman would do: I called my mommy. My parents talked me into calling an ambulance, which whisked me away to the emergency room where they kept me for about 8 hours before admitting me and sending me upstairs where they kept me until today at noon. I have been poked and prodded in every conceivable place, and if one more person asks me to rate my pain on a scale of 1 to 10, I will not be responsible for my actions.
And after all this, what was wrong with me? Yeah, they don't know. It's not appendicitis, it's not anything gynecological (and boy, that was a fun "ruling out" process)... some sort of non-specific infection.
Ah, well, all's well that ends well. I'm home and I feel fine.
