It went okay, I think. There was a brief moment where I forgot how to conjugate the present tense of etre, the very first thing everyone learns, but I got past it

In one fairly advanced French class when I was in college (I somehow tested out of three semesters worth), I had a brain fart and said "tres" when I meant "trois." Not only that, but after the professor questioned me on it ("Tres?"), I still kept insisting. And this wasn't even the French class I had at 8am on the other end of campus.

What I find so frustrating is that I used to know this shit. At one point, I could have whole conversations and now I'm back to the "I just woke up. I am taking a shower. I am about to have breakfast." level.
