Is it too late to jump on the gmail bandwagon? Does anybody have a spare code?

I'm going to start writing for the Establishment, which is a role-playing game (geek, I know, omg!) for slash fiction, and I'd rather not spam up my personal account. Do yahoo groups cause you to get spam, ie do they sell their mailing lists?

You know it's very hard to see the "speak" button with this design, even though it is beautiful...

I belonged to a couple of Yahoo groups, they give you the options if you want to receive every mail or just mail from the group host, so I think you have some control over that

I know! I've found that if I try to change the text to white, which would show up well, it also changes all the text on the component boxes, so I can't see links to my flist, etc. I may just have to use light pictures, or change my component colors.

Apparently, Gmail do datamining, but as I don't really know what that is, I'm not that bothered personally!!

I have found Yahoo OK, and much lesss spam than Hotmail where it can be a prob.

Yes, I've heard about the datamining thing... I'm just going to use it for kinky chat stuff right now, so they can mine away :)
