Johnny Depp is the gayest, campest pirate I’ve ever seen. Did you notice him fondling the phallic-like grips of the boat wheel at the end? A movie made entirely to keep the LJ slash community going for years to come!
I really liked it, much better than I expected to when I first heard the concept (let’s take a Disney ride and turn it into a feature film). Johnny really is hilarious, and of course I am a huge fan of the eyeliner look. And Orli needs to do a comedy next – his impression of Cap’n Jack is one of the funniest bits of the movie.
I give it three out of five stars – which in my book means see it in the theatres, but realize that it’s entertainment rather than ground-breaking art.
