Surprise nature encounter

I was just walking back from the fitness center at the client site I'm staying at this week, which is a continuing education campus for union members on the outskirts of Washington DC, and something caught my eye between two of the buildings.

It looked like tails wagging, and I thought, "Ugh, someone's let their dog off leash." And then I saw more tails, and I thought, "Oh shit, is that a pack of dogs???"

And then I looked again and realized it was 3 white-tailed deer bounding down a set of concrete stairs and into the wooded area behind the campus.
