Update from the Waiting Room

of my local (ish) Mitsubishi dealer.

Hey, they have free wi-fi, they're already ahead in my books.

I say localish, because they are like eighteen miles from my house. There's a dealer closer, but I didn't like what they did with my car when I took it in for service. And they're only like two miles closer, so in the grand scheme of things, not such a big deal.

So any guesses on the total amount of money I'll end up signing over to them today?

To give you a fair basis:
1. My window made a whirring noise, and one that I would swear was the sound of breaking glass. They are charging me $85 just to look at it.
2. I've asked them to check my brakes, as they keep squealing.
3. I'm getting my oil changed - $30

I'm guessing.... 30 kajillion dollars and my firstborn son.

Dear Other Person in the Waiting Room at Ed Voyles Mitsubishi*

Please, sir, stop arguing with your girlfriend over your cell phone. You're in a public place. I'm sitting twenty feet away, across the room, and I now know more about your relationship than I need to. I don't care if you don't give a damn, and if you don't want to talk about "it," whatever "it" is, then hang up the fucking phone. In my experience, this ends the conversation effectively.
