Well, guess it's time for the 'What I did with my weekend' post, so here goes:

Friday:
*Wrote most of the epilogue to the story I've been working on since June.
*Got home at a decent hour, spent the rest of the night unpacking and straightening and going through the mail (of which there is far, far too much - swear I'm on every mailing list known to man!)

Saturday:
*Completed epilogue. Story is now finished.
*Worked on memory book from France trip. Yes, that's right, I'm a solid 2 years behind on my photo albums, what of it?! :)
*Watched movies - have now seen From Here to Eternity (I still don't understand why Deborah Kerr's character couldn't stay with Burt Lancaster's character, can anyone explain this to me?) and The Seven Year Itch (I'd kind of like to see this remade with David Hyde Pierce as the lead).

Sunday:
*RETAIL THERAPY, WOOT! Bought new stereo and new palm pilot.
*Went to see Finding Neverland. Beautiful. And not just because Johnny Depp is gorgeous and does a hell of a Scottish accent.
*Veil of Tears: Started crying halfway through Neverland and never stopped til the movie was over. Mopped myself up and went home. Turned on tv - caught the end of The Five People You Meet in Heaven, cried for another hour. Oh, well, my sinuses are cleared out now.

So that's my weekend. Today is gray and cold and yucky outside, and I'm catching up on work stuff, as I am home this week. A little unsettled about being home work-wise, but I'm hoping it's a good thing.

Yes, I'm feeling spammy today.

Supernova has crapped out on me, with 85% of the last episode of LOST downloaded. *pouts*

I'm gonna go run errands now. Miss me, please.

Oh, joy, the marching band at the school next to my house is practising. Lovely.

In other news, I'm a lazy arse.

So why does my background picture show up in the exact right place on my friends' list, yet not on my actual journal?

*headdesk*

ETA: Ooo, miraculously fixed. Wonder what I did?
