Accounting for Time
Jan. 25th, 2004 12:27 amWhat I've done today:
*Slept til noon in an effort to ward off the massive sinus infection/allergy attack I am teetering on the edge of. Also, just like sleeping in.
*Went to the mall and hemorrhaged large amounts of money. Purchased, among other things, 2 new pairs of shoes, a new wallet, and a pair of gray pants I needed for work. Also, finally bought Pirates of the Caribbean DVD.
*Began massive cleaning out of closet task, and have so far amassed a Goodwill pile about 3 feet tall. Have only gone through about half of my clothes... it's entirely possible I have shopping issues.
What I didn't do today:
*Call one of my dearest friends. Because how many times can you ask a person how she's doing after the love of her life thus far dies? I know, I know, it's the thought that counts and I want to be there for her. I just don't know what to say other than what I've already said: I'm so sorry, call me anytime you need me, come stay with me if you need to sort your head out, I love you.
I'll call her tomorrow, no matter what. I just couldn't face it today.
