Much with confusedness

vixaliciousHave spent the whole afternoon online, trying to catch up with reading everything that you lot have posted whilst I was away.
Coffee Boy im'd me while I was online, after nearly three weeks of silence. We chatted for a few minutes, mostly about my work and his apartment-moving process. I was a bit surprised to hear from him as I figured he had given up due to my weird schedule.
I have been giving dating much thought over the last couple of weeks and I have come to a few conclusions:
a) I get too intense too quickly, and must learn to chill the fuck out. Feel free to repeat this phrase to me at any later rant I have on this subject, i.e. Vix, just chill the fuck out. I need a t-shirt that says that.
b) I only know how to date at school. This sounds bizarre, since, as many of you may know, I turn 28 on Tuesday. But here it goes.
I have been doing my travelling, no-life job for over five years now. I was almost 23 when I started, and it really has made it harder to meet a nice boy. Ok, to be completely honest, it's given me a really good excuse not to put my heart on the line.
Prior to that, I broke up with my last boyfriend the summer between my sophomore and junior year at college. Unless you count a small fling with a coworker a couple years ago... but that wasn't really about dating, per se.
So the last time I had a real relationship, it was a school relationship, where we both knew everyone the other person knew and didn't have anything more pressing than homework to keep us apart. The problem with this is that I am trying now to learn how grown-ups date. Apparently it's a slower process.
c) I want to make my own t-shirts. I'm looking into it. I just need to find a website that doesn't have a problem with copyright infringement.
Yeah, that last one really doesn't fit. Oh, well.
