You're probably right about the background thing. One of my favorite parts of Joe Egg is when Brian calls Sheila a "truly integrated person" - I think I work like that too. If I'm not happy in one area of life, it bleeds into all the others.

Oh, and I'm in NYC... I feel bad cuz I didn't try to get in touch with anyone here but I'm not great company lately. Thought I'd contain the grouch. *g*
